For many years we produced benefit concerts in Seattle for causes we believe in, and in general tried to feature musicians who deserved a lot more attention than they usually got from the mainstream music business. It might be most.

Seattle Secret Music came about because some of the most essential aspects of musical life are too often obscured by the culture of celebrity…when in fact the true inspirations of modern culture are in reality

clinging to the edges of viability.

We imagine – still – a place where pure heart and creativity are appreciated, and fame and/or fortune are an unnecessary, distant wish. We can all contribute to making music come alive.
